Adopt-a-Highway Cleanup

Our last Highway Clean Up for the year is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026.

The start time is 8:00 a.m.

It's a pleasant outing and a fun opportunity to hang out with other cool Rotarians, PLUS you get the added satisfaction of helping to keep Mason County beautiful.

Here’s how it works:

  • We meet in the Taco Bell parking lot at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 19.
  • Please wear good shoes or boots for hiking in long grass on uneven terrain.
  • We'll have reflective vests, trash bags, and rubber gloves for everyone.
  • We'll have a very brief safety review.
  • BONUS FOR TRASH PICKERS: We will provide donuts!!
  • We split up in pairs, then drive to our designated locations on U.S. 31 and have at it!
  • You'll be finished no later than 9:30 am.
Please consider taking advantage of a beautiful day and volunteer to help with this project.

Many thanks to Debbie Howe for coordinating the Clean Ups!

The Interact Club Board met on Sunday, August 30, to plan for the school year.  Debra reports that they are again nothing short of amazing.

Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self.

Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding.

Rotary club sponsors mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills.

The Ludington High School Interact Club is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ludington.  Club members are invited to attend Interact meetings to give support. Dates for upcoming Interact meetings are listed below.
